The Youth Advisory Council is a space for teens to learn how to be leaders and make decisions around programing, events and cool stuff. Also, you will be exercising and learning about social entrepreneurship. This is a paid position and some of your responsibilities will be:
- Aid, support, and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs
- Express your own creativity in a safe and welcoming environment
- Plan the curriculum and events for the cohort
- Help increase the entrepreneurial engagement and opportunity amongst youth in Durham
- Obtain academic and business launch support
- Attend skills workshops, speaker series, field trips, social events, and YAC members only trips
- Work in close partnership with undergrads students, executive staff, and other YAC member.
