Attention fibre producers, sellers, artists, artisans, and crafters! We are excited to announce the 4th annual Algoma Fibre to Fabric Festival! This annual event showcases the many products, skills and talents involved with turning raw fibre into beautiful creations right here in Algoma.

DATE: Saturday August 8th, 2026
TIME: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Arena Floor - Johnson Township Community Centre (adjacent to the Johnson Farmers' Market)
ADDRESS: 1 Cameron Avenue, Desbarats, ON

After submitting the completed form, please email 3 or 4 high quality photos displaying your work and a detailed promotional description of your business to fibretofabricfestival@gmail.com as soon as possible, to help with our selection process and vendor spotlights. If approved, you will receive an invoice, and be asked to submit your payment along with your certificate of insurance (if applicable) to finalize registration.

DETAILS

Setup times available on Friday evening before the festival, and starting 7:30am on Saturday August 8th. Set up to be complete by 8:45 a.m.
All displays, backdrops, stand-ups etc. must remain inside designated space.
Please be considerate of your neighbouring vendor so that your display does not block or impede their space. Space parameters are to be respected.
All displays are to stay in place until 2:00 pm. No early tear down or packing up items as customers are still wandering around.
Please promote the event through your social media platforms and tag #algomafibretofabric and #fibretofabricfestival
All cancellations before July 1st are subject to a $10 admin fee.
No refunds for cancellations after July 1st.

$45 vendor Table (includes 10' x 10' space with one 8' table and 2 chairs)

$60 Vendor Booth (includes 14'x10' space with up to two 8' tables and 2 chairs)

$80 Corner Booth (includes 14' x 10' space, with up to one 8' table plus two 6' tables, and 2 chairs.

Add an additional 6' table for $10 (while quantities last) *vendors can bring their own tables if they fit within space parameters*

Discount for approved demonstration -$10

Free demonstration only table (non vending)

Please check if you do not require tables in your area (bringing display, own tables, etc.)

General Liability Insurance coverage for the day is mandatory. Group coverage is available to those without coverage.

No - I would you like to be added to the the Festival’s group coverage for an additional $12

Yes - I will send a Certificate of Insurance for third-party general liability coverage against claims by others to a limit of $2,000,000, with Johnson Farmers’ Market and Farmers' Market Ontario designated as additional named insured under such coverage.

Would you like to provide a demonstration at your booth? If yes, please describe. If your demonstration is accepted there will be a $10 discount on your vendor table. *

If you are interested in delivering a workshop at the festival, briefly tell us about your proposed topic/project idea. Please include info about class length, required materials, and required experience level. If approved, we will reach out to discuss registration and compensation details.

To enhance the success of the event, would you like to contribute an item to our door prize? If so, what would you like to donate?
