The Oakland Grizzlies Warriors are seeking highly dedicated and committed players to participate with our team for the 2023-24 season.
Players will be selected for the team's roster following a series of evaluation skates during the spring, and will begin participating with the team for the fall season.
Players selected to participate with the Oakland Grizzlies will be expected to meet several requirements including, but not limited to, the following:
- Commitment to participate in a minimum of two national tournaments during the course of the
- season, from the following options:
- USA Hockey Warrior Classic (October-November)
- USA Hockey Disabled Hockey Festival (March-April)
- Hendrickson Foundation Hockey Festival (June)
- Other tournaments TBD
- Commitment to participate in a minimum of two practices per month, and will provide advanced communication when unavailable to participate.
- Commitment to participation solely with the Oakland Warriors Hockey Club or approved
- affiliates for competitive USA Hockey Warrior play.
- Commitment maintain a valid USA Hockey registration number for the duration of
- participation with the OWHC.
- Commitment to secure at least $1,500 in sponsorships or fundraising pledges by December 31st, 2023.
- Commitment to participate in all team PR and fundraising activities
Prospective players should complete the following form to register for evaluations and informational meetings. Participation in spring evaluations and informational meetings will be required for consideration of selection.
