Has your kid already got the basics of bike riding down? Are they enthusiastic about mountain biking and ready to hone more advanced skills? Then Reno Bike Project is excited to have your child in this Spring Break's Major Taylor Intermediate Mountain Biking Camp! This 5-day camp meets April 2-6, from 9-12pm M-Th and 9-2pm F. Day 2: Preparation: Bicycle safety check, tools, bike parts, intro next level tricks, trail ride
Day 3: Community: Review trail technique and new tricks, group ride etiquette, longer trail ride

Applicants must know how to ride a bicycle and be comfortable riding on uneven terrain (such as going up/down curbs, or riding on single track or other rocky terrain), stand between 4’10 - 6’7, and be 11-18 years old. The camp fee is $150 per participant and must be paid prior to the first bike ride. We provide mountain bikes for participants to ride, bike helmets, gloves, and all tools and equipment. Participants should arrive having had breakfast, in comfortable & appropriate riding clothing, with close-toed shoes. Each day, we will meet in a different location. More details to follow sign-up.

Scholarships are available; we don't want to price out families for whom the tuition would create a hardship. To apply for a scholarship, please contact Genevieve Parker,

We're expecting clear skies and comfortable temps, but of course weather is unpredictable. If the weather will be overly unfavorable, we'll let you know and refund your child's tuition for any days cancelled. Our intermediate MTB-only camp is designed for those who excelled in our introductory Major Taylor Camp or P.E. Program in school, and it's a really special experience!
