2019 Unit Leader Award Nomination
Criteria: Each Unit may nominate a maximum of one person for recognition. The nomination should be made on the basis of service by any individual regardless of the person’s position or tenure. (Nominations should be submitted by the Unit Key 3)
Nominations should be made on the basis of:
1 excellence of duty,
2 action during a crucial period, or
3 sustained performance to the unit.
Format: The submission should contain the individual’s full name to be used on the award, unit/number, a short paragraph narrative description of the basis on which the nomination is being made, the name of the person making the nomination and the date of the nomination.
Period of Performance: Nominations should be made on the basis of actions performed since the nominee became a member of the Unit, and normally within the past year. If the nominee is a prior recipient of the award, then the basis may only include those actions performed since that time.
Submission: All nominations must be submitted no later then March 31, 2019.
Notification: The person, normally the Committee Chair, Scoutmaster, Cubmaster, Crew Adviser, or Post Adviser, who nominated the individual is responsible for getting the nominee to the Dinner and being present for the award.
