Project activities will include limited test excavation, geophysical survey, and systematic coring.

August 3rd and August 16th are dedicated travel days for arrival and departure. Field work will begin on the 4th and run until the 15th. We ask that participants plan on working a minimum of three consecutive days however, sign-up for as many days as you can!

If you are traveling from out of town, the crew will be camping at Cross Ranch State Park. Water, toilets, and showers are available at the camp site. PCRG will provide all meals for those staying in camp. Volunteers are responsible for bringing their own personal camping gear such as a tent, sleeping bag, etc. Project participants must arrive at camp the evening prior their first day of work.

PCRG relies on volunteers for all of our projects. While no experience is required to participate, we like to have a good idea of the experience levels of our volunteers. In the space below please provide a brief description of any previous archaeological work. (again, no experience is ok!) *

If you are staying in camp PCRG will provide all meals for the project. If you have any food allergies or restrictions please let us know. We do our best to accommodate all volunteers!

If you will not be staying in camp you will be responsible for bringing your own lunch to the site each day.
