AIDA Grant
The Jeunesses Musicales Canada Foundation supports the career development of Quebec artists through the Fonds d’aide aux artistes (also known as the AIDA Fund).

Established with financial assistance from the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications, the Fund provides non-recurrent funding to artists for individual projects such as auditions, competitions, or master classes.

In accordance with JMC’s mandate, this financial assistance is to support the professional development of artists and facilitate their access to large cultural institutions at the national and international levels.
The AIDA fund
The AIDA fund offers outstanding instrumentalists and singers from Québec a program to mentor and support them in their career development efforts, to reach music distribution networks and access major cultural institutions.
Targeted candidates
Any instrumentalist or singer with remarkable potential and already engaged in a professional career.
Remarkable potential : whom by his talent and ability can access a national or even international activity.
Eligibility
Canadian citizen or landed immigrant and resident of Québec for at least 24 months.
Applicants must be 30 years old or younger at the moment of their application.

Recurring Applications: Applicants may apply for support once in each fiscal year of the Foundation between July 1 and June 30 of the following year.
Criteria for presenting projects
Official registration of an application to the AIDA Fund is made through the authorized application form. The jury will evaluate the nature of the project, its chances of success and the artist’s talent in the context of a national and / or international career.
