The recently created Carlisle Agricultural Commission is seeking information on all those who form part of the local agricultural community. The information gathered will help create an agricultural directory for the town, which will be made available on the commission’s webpage and in future publications.
‘Agricultural enterprise’ is used in an intentionally broad sense to include all those who contribute to the range of agricultural products produced in Carlisle. Such enterprises come in a wide variety in both their size and in the types of products they produce, and may include vegetables, fruit, grains, eggs, honey, milk, flowers, meat, cheese, wine or beer, wool or wool products, hay, compost, etc. Whatever your end product is, if it has a connection to local agriculture, or if you'd like it to, we want to hear from you!
If you would like to have your enterprise included in the agricultural directory, please fill out the questionnaire below. Answer as fully as possible, but do not provide any information that you do not wish to be made publicly available. Please direct any questions to CarlisleAgCom@gmail.com.
