We're glad you're interested in doing a year of national service through AmeriCorps VISTA! The Office of Civic & Community Engagement hosts a large VISTA project, the Winston-Salem Community Action Coalition in collaboration with host sites across the community. Full-year VISTA members serve for 12 months, August-August. Formal recruitment for the project typically occurs in April/May, but we are interested in connecting with potential candidates at any point in the calendar year.
