Confirmed: Saturday, 7/14 from 9:00 am - 11:30 am: Running for Office. You'll learn what it take to run for office from an expert consultant, and RESULTS advocates who have actually run for office. This will be interesting to you if you are thinking of running for office, or you want to understand those who are running for office during the November Elections.

Tentative--if we get 12 interested attendees we'll run it: Wednesday, 7/18 from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm: Building Advocacy Training Skills to Engage Your Community. These are extraordinary times in our democracy. If we want to end poverty, it will require RESULTS advocates and our partners to engage many more people in effective advocacy. This workshop will prepare you become an advocacy skills trainer so you can grow the movement to end poverty in your community, and share the magic of RESULTS with others working for social justice.
