The Emerson Elementary PTA will soon be selecting recipients for the 75th Annual PTA Honorary Service Awards.
Honorary Service Awards (HSA) are designed to give special recognition to selected individuals, parents, teachers, school employees, and organizations for outstanding volunteer service to children and youth in the PTA, school, or in our community.
Take a look around our school and in our community. Is there a volunteer* who has made an outstanding contribution to children and youth? Remember to consider those who work behind the scenes, quietly and efficiently serving children. If the answer is yes, nominate them for PTA’s Honorary Service Award Program!

* “Volunteer” is defined as a non-paid service beyond the individual’s normal paid activities. This could be anyone consistently involved with youth and children. The applicants being considered should be recognized for outstanding service to children and youth, and not necessarily for routine, assigned responsibilities or for retirement.
