Q7 Jason Cook was an ACPE member who passed away in 2019. He was a husband and father, a systems administrator, and a believer in technology for social good. In the past decade, innovations in technology have changed the way we communicate, travel, shop, collaborate, and solve problems. Jason championed that decade of change and the opportunities it introduced to solve some of society’s biggest problems—poverty, homelessness, climate change, political oppression, and more. For this question, we are asking you to dream a bit. Tell us about a social or political problem that is meaningful to you and share an idea of how technology can impact that problem in a positive way. (500 words) *
