Thriving Communities will be piloting two self-guided adult education curricula on the topic of reparations in mid-January. The first will be an asynchronous, peer-facilitated version of sessions from our day of learning on reparations in August. The second, titled, “The Stolen Beam Series,” was developed by lay leaders of the Racial Justice Initiative at the Jewish Community of Amherst. Both are excellent opportunities for congregations to do a Jewishly-rooted deep dive into one of the most potentially transformative and complicated pathways for racial justice in our times.
