In order to ease the application process, representatives from the Department's wildlife education program will be hosting a series of information sessions.These sessions are specific to only the Schoolyard Habitat, Outdoor Education and Environmental Education funding windows of the Heritage grants. Each session will provide an overview of the different grant opportunities, discuss the types of projects that may be funded, and allow the opportunity for interested applicants to ask questions.
These sessions will be hosted as an online Google Hangout. It will air live on YouTube and participants will be able to ask questions via email to the presenters. You will need Internet access with the ability to view YouTube. You will need speakers. You will need access to email if you wish to ask questions.
Each session is expected to last approximately 1 hour. The dates and times for the information sessions are:
- Wednesday, July 23 at 10am
- Saturday, August 23 at 9am
- Tuesday, September 2 at 7pm
Interested applicants can participate in one or more of the sessions. The general information presented at each session will be the same. However, participants may ask different questions in each session.
Participation in the information sessions is not required to receive a grant. However, it is highly encourage to have a better understanding of what the Department is looking for in successful applications.
