Help your child open up to pages 2-3. Look at the picture and then at the four shapes in the box on page 2. Point to the first shape. Ask: What is this shape? A rectangle. Continue this way until your child has named all of the shapes. Have your child find their blue, yellow, green, and red crayons. Explain how to color the shapes in the picture the same color as the code. Practice together by finding the triangles just above the box and coloring them green. Have them finish with you or continue on their if they feel comfortable. *
