4-H Outdoor Skills Challenge

Do you think you have what it takes? Put your skills to the test in the Chenango County 4-H Survival Skills Challenge. Teams of four youth will rotate through five main stations where they will complete tasks in kayaking, wayfinding, scavenging, fire starting, and shelter building. Navigate through the outdoor terrain, build your camp, and use your resources wisely to see which team will come out on top!

•Teams will be made up of four youth, each team having their own adult coach. Participants MUST be enrolled in 4-H by time of registration to participate. (If not already enrolled, paperwork: http://ccechenango.org/resources/2017-2018-4-h-enrollment-form) Coaches must be enrolled volunteers with Chenango County 4-H and be at least 21 years of age. •Individuals without a four person team can register to be placed on a team. Complete just first team member part of the registration below and forward through the other pages and click submit.

•Youth must be at least 10 years of age to participate, maximum 18 years old.

•Cost to register a team is $10, cost to register an individual is $5 if you register by May 18. Late registrations will be charged $5 extra. Monies can be mailed to or dropped off to Chenango County CCE at 99 North Broad St Norwich, NY 13815 at time of registration. Checks can be made payable to CCE Chenango.

•Limited number of teams can participate. First come, first serve. Extra teams will be waitlisted.
