Welcome to the application form for गर्दै पढ्दै — a science GRANT for deserving classrooms.

We are thrilled to announce the गर्दै पढ्दै (Gardai Padhdai) Grant – a year-long hands-on science program for 40+ deserving classrooms across Nepal. This initiative, powered by Karkhana in collaboration with a community of funders, is a step toward bringing scientific thinking, creativity, and curiosity into classrooms that need it the most.

🚀 What is this grant about?

This grant supports classrooms that:

• Have a passion for science but lack the resources
• Believe science is more than a subject—it's a way of thinking
• Want to make learning active, joyful, and hands-on
• Are led by curious teachers who dream of doing more, despite limitations

Through गर्दै पढ्दै, selected classrooms will receive:

✅ Science materials aligned with the national curriculum
✅ Digital + physical classroom resources
✅ Year-long teacher training and ongoing mentorship
✅ Creative events to spark scientific culture in schools
✅ Certification and national-level visibility

📥 Who can apply?

School leader / Representative of a school leader.  

📌 Eligibility Criteria:

• The school must be willing to integrate the program
• Teachers must be open to hands-on science pedagogy
• Internet access is required for digital resources
• Teachers must attend both in-person and virtual workshops
• Regular updates and coordination with the Karkhana team are expected
