Make Compost, Not Garbage! Dropping-off your food scraps to be composted is one way residents can help nourish soil health, increase water absorption capacity, reduce material being sent to a landfill, and help fight climate change.
This free service is voluntary and residents must sign up. All Charleston region residents are invited to join!
This form will take about 10 minutes to fill out. Upon completion, you will:
- Learn how the program works
- Know what items are accepted for composting and what items should be left out
- Receive the lock code to open the food scrap carts so you can start composting!
