This is a workshop for Seattle training - Schools outside may attend if space allows.

Cost:
• Schools inside Seattle are free.
• Schools outside of Seattle - $10.00 for materials.

Attendance is limited to 30 sign-ups.
• One spot per school except for new schools/teachers where the number is two. Additional sign-ups will be put on
a wait list.
• Schools outside of Seattle will be put on a wait list with the priority for schools inside the Seattle city limits.

We will cover:
• Tank set-up, equipment and maintenance.
• Observation logs and other lesson plans connected to OSPI standards; Curriculum and service-learning connections.
• Expertise available on maintenance and education opportunities.

Who should attend?
• Teachers who are new to Salmon in the Schools are required to attend entire workshop.
• We strongly recommend that volunteers involved with tank set-up or ongoing maintenance attend the tank session.
• Anyone that needs a refresher on Tank Maintenance.

Clock hours are available: 4 clock hours @ $2.00 each for a total of $8.00. Checks made out to Seattle Public Schools.

Bring your lunch - beverages will be available.
