EXPECTATIONS OF AMBASSADORS:
--Commit to be coached through an entire on-boarding process.
--Commit to enact an on-boarding cycle that takes typically longer than two months and which involves multiple outreach attempts.
--See each campus through, from first initial contact to signed contract.
--Become an independent contractor with the Sustained Dialogue Institute (SDI).
--Represent the brand and the mission of SDI.
--Stay organized and report progress to SDI staff as instructed.
THE SUSTAINED DIALOGUE INSTITUTE
Job title: Sustained Dialogue Ambassador
Job type: Independent Contractor
Reports to: Designated SDI Liaison/Coach
Pay: Commission-based. Contractor receives 15% of any contract for membership or training closed through their outreach.
The position will have a central role in growing campus-based activities. Primary responsibility includes developing new programs through outreach to new locales within the U.S.
No previous nonprofit marketing experience required, but experience with sales and SD is welcome. This role is compensated only when new schools sign on through formal contracts. SD Ambassadors earn a substantial commission for each new engagement.
SD Ambassadors will:
--Receive training regarding on-boarding process, SD program offerings, and context.
--Work with SDI coach to identify up to 5 campuses for outreach through phone and email with the goal of initiating at least one school into Deep Membership by Dec. 31, 2015 (via signed Letter of Agreement).
--Research, identify, and diligently contact key administrative leads using a specific pitch (may include multiple outreach attempts over months).
--Use SDI provided materials to share information.
--Track responses using provided templates.
--Serve responsibly from initial contact to signed contract representing the values and mission of the Sustained Dialogue Institute.
--Report to SDI coach as instructed.
