Application to join The Scrap
Thank you for your interest in joining our team at The Scrap. We strive to build the most well-rounded team in order to build the go-to hub for creative Combat Spots content.

We have very limited slots and are looking for specific content this time around. This may be the ONLY time we are hiring in 2023 as our team has grown, and we are one step closer to forming the team that will carry us into mainstream.

- Build your writing portfolio and brand
- Hone your writing skills
- We can help you market yourself and your new column
- Help promote your articles and videos on many different social media platforms
- Access to our audience
- Ability to grow, professionalize, and promote your brand
- Compensation (Limited Roles)

We always have room for writers, podcasters, video producers, and interviewers on our team. However, we want to work with the most passionate, engaged, and obsessed writers. We are looking for producers of original and innovative content. More importantly, we are looking for individuals who appreciate creative freedom and need little-to-no guidance. We understand you may work for another site, but if you're going to half-ass it, save yourself some time and exit this application.

NOTE: We always have volunteer positions open. Our volunteers are first in line for our compensated roles, which are currently limited. We hope our writers generate their own columns on the site once they are acquainted.

Below are our current staff needs (you can apply for more than one)-

1. Pro Wrestling Content Producer:
The Scrap is in need for a Pro Wrestling writer, interviewer and/or video content producer. Ideally, this person is versatile and wants to do all three, but in the event they do not and only want to write, we have two open roles for Pro Wrestling Content Producers. We are desperate for more content from the Indies, and the major brands like WWE, AEW, NJPW, ROH, IMPACT, etc.

2. Twitter Spaces Host:
The Scrap is going to be focusing on using social media platforms to their fullest potential. This year, we want to get into Twitter Spaces, so we are looking for an energetic, obsessed individual to start a new show on our Twitter account.

3. YouTube Content Creator:
We have enough interviewers. We want to bring something different here... Pitch us your best idea. We want to diversift our YouTube channel. We are only looking for passionate individuals who watch MMA, Pro Wrestling, BKFC, and/or Boxing. We want someone to put forth a WEEKLY segment on our YouTube channel, live or not.

NOTE: Every writer and video producer will start off as a volunteer during their two month trial period. Once the two months are over, you are evaluated, moved to a composted role if there is one available, or remain a volunteer while we help build your writing and reporting skills. It's your time to show us what you can bring to the table, and how you differentiate from everyone else in the space.

Submissions to this form do not guarantee employment. The answers to these questions are used for preliminary screening. If selected, you may be emailed follow-up questions. All submissions usually receive a response within 48-72 business hours.
