We're excited to see the return of Banned Books From the Big Chair for ALA Annual Conference 2026! 

We need your help to make it happen! The amazing team from Sage Publishing will be running the booth and recording the videos. We need volunteers to help attendees find the perfect banned book or sign for their photos and videos, collect release forms, and help move people through the booth.

This is a great opportunity to network, talk up your group or round table, and meet other attendees. We expect several authors will also pop in, so you might have a chance to talk to them as well!

More volunteers means that more people will have a chance to participate. Please share this opportunity with your colleagues. Thank you for signing up!

Booth location: McCormick Place Exhibit Concourse, between the Connect Lounge and the exhibits entrance 

Booth hours: Saturday and Sunday
9:00 - 10:45 AM
10:45 - 11:00 AM - break
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM 
1:00 - 1:45 PM - lunch
1:45 - 3:15 PM 
3:15 - 3:30 PM - break
3:30 - 5:00 PM
