Five County Child Development Program Inc.
In an effort to plan for our upcoming program year, Five County Child Development Program is conducting a survey to consider various types of school scheduling in order to keep our Head Start families safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. The agency is considering the below options:
Requires students to be physically present in school with scheduling modifications to follow CDC and Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) recommendations.
Combines online and face-to-face instructions for students.
Examples of Hybrid Schedules - A/B Days students population is divided in half, with each half reporting to school on alternating days, (2 days each week) and participating in distance learning during days scheduled at home. (A-Days Monday and Wednesday or B-Days Tuesday and Thursday.) Fridays could be used for deep cleaning the Head Start facilities. The goal of reducing the number of students in the schools each day is to meet social distancing guidelines.
Instruction provided through distance learning.
