Success factors for developing user-facing digital services in Africa
Public Digital is a digital transformation consultancy. We help international organisations and governments to leverage the culture, processes, technology and operating models of the internet era to enhance public service delivery.

Alongside our client projects, we are conducting research on the success factors of user-facing digital public service projects in Africa. By user-facing digital services, we mean services that imply a direct interaction between government and citizens (G2C) or government and businesses (G2B) through technology.

This is why we created this survey. We would like to hear from project managers, stakeholders, vendors and donors on one specific project they have worked on these past five years. This project may be completed or still ongoing, and successful or challenging.

Their input, combined with other cases across Africa, will help us understand what makes a project successful, and draw lessons for future digital public service projects. We aim to make the results of this research project public so that it benefits all interested parties.
