Dripping Springs Youth Orchestra will meet on Tuesdays during the 2025-26 school year beginning on August 26, 2025. (14 rehearsals + 1 concert each semester, for a total of 28 rehearsals and 2 concerts)
Please fill out one form for each student.
Include the link to your video via Google Drive or Youtube of your
most polished piece at the bottom of the form. These videos may be used for assigning chair seatings.
There will be a concert at the end of each semester on December 7, 2025 and April 26, 2026
Rehearsals:
Tuesdays during the 2025-26 school year
Beginner Orchestra: 5-6:30pm
Intermediate & Advanced Chamber Orchestras: 5-7pm

Tuition: Tuition for the 2025-26 is $470 due in full no later than August 20, 2025.
Tuition can also be paid in
two installments of $250 each- the 1st due August 20, 2025,
the 2nd due October 15, 2025.
Minimum requirements:
Beginner Orchestra:
Violin/Viola- Suzuki book 1 Allegretto (or equivalent)
Cello- Suzuki book 1 Perpetual Motion (or equivalent)
Bass- Suzuki book 1 Perpetual Motion (or equivalent)
Intermediate Orchestra: Completion of Suzuki book 3 (or equivalent)
Advanced Orchestra: Suzuki book 6 and up (or equivalent)
*Having a private instructor is preferred and recommended, but not required for Beginner Orchestra.
*Having a private instructor is required for the Intermediate and Advanced Orchestras.
