A two part workshop - networking event on topics of human rights, media literacy and democratic processes.In practical workshops you will be able to expand your knowledge on human right issues that are important today, you will learn how to recognize and react to hate speech, what does it mean to be youth right activists, how to critically look at the information on media sources, how to notice disinformation or how to create socially responsible content, as well as, how to take part in democratic processes in local level or within the EU, importance of civic engagement, it’s initiatives and voting.
The networking part will take place in the Embassy of the Netherlands where you will be able to have an informal dialogue with the Ambassador of the Netherlands, various youth organisations, public initiatives, NGOs and who in turn will present their work and answer your questions.It’s a great opportunity to learn and broaden your networks, find new friends, get valuable experience or find internships in one of the participating organisations or initiatives.
35 active young people (16-21 y.o) from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, who will become superheroes of democracy.

There is NO participation fee. Participants from Lithuania need to cover their transportation to and from the event costs. Travel cost for participants from Latvia and Estonia will be reimbursed according Erasmus+ budget rules. The event is financed by the European Commission program Erasmus+.
