This series of five short courses is designed for Wisconsin libraries and cultural heritage institutions getting started with digitization. Topics covered include copyright, scanning, metadata, file storage and digital preservation, as well as processes for contributing digital collections to Recollection Wisconsin and the Digital Public Library of America.
Each section of the course can be completed independently and the full course will take approximately 3 hours to complete.
After registering, we will follow up with access details for the course and information about participating in a Google Community where you can connect with other digitizers in Wisconsin and ask questions of experts.
For any questions, contact Emily Pfotenhauer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
