Everett self-guided "NO HEAT" walking & biking feedback

What are we doing?

Please help provide information to make your communities more comfortable to move around. The Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is doing a Neutralizing Onerous Heat Effects on Active Transportation (NO-HEAT) project. NO-HEAT focuses on making walking, biking, or rolling more comfortable. Boston MPO is working on this project with the cities of Chelsea, Revere, Everett, and Framingham. Community partners include WalkMass, MassBike, Bike to the Sea, and Mystic River Watershed Association.

What kind of feedback are we looking for?

As you walk or bike through one of the routes, look for anything that makes it harder to walk, bike, or roll. We want to know if sidewalks, crosswalks, and pedestrian signals are in good shape, or if there are benches, lighting, and shade along the route. We want to identify problems on each of the routes that make it harder to travel along them.

Why should I do this?

Your feedback will help the cities make the routes more comfortable! Grocery store gift cards are available for anyone that provides their ideas.
