Shemita Havurah Leader Interest Form
Over the past few years, BJ members have been building community through havurot, small groups that are self-organized, based on shared interests or demographics. Through havurot, our members come together in intimate settings with one another to deepen relationships, learn, and create community together. Nearly 250 BJ members have met new people, learned new things, and found new ways to nourish their Jewish lives through these small groups. If you are looking to form new connections or continue to foster a strong community, consider starting a havurah.
Through havurot, BJ members connect in an intimate setting, which can be virtual or in person (depending on health and safety protocol), around shared interests or demographics, in which they deepen relationships and create community together.
This year, our havurot will be centered around the Shemita theme. If you have an idea for a havurah, or are already part of a group that could become a havurah please fill out the form below. The deadline to submit an idea is November 19, 2021.
