Observation/Student Teaching/Internship and Practicum Requests in the Burlington-Edison School District
The purpose of this form is to collect the information needed to process requests for placing pre-service students in the Burlington-Edison School District (B-ESD).  Please complete one form for EACH candidate.

Please note that we do not place pre-service students at sites that are in federal improvement status. Additionally, our priority considerations for pre-service candidates include: 
  • Students in the Maestros program (a B-ESD, Skagit Valley College, Western Washington University grow your own collaborative)
  • Students that are bilingual or trilingual (Spanish, Mixtexo, Triqui)
Due to these factors, pre-service placements are limited in B-ESD. 

The deadlines for receiving placement requests are as follows:

Fall (Start dates in August-December) - June 1
Winter (Start dates in January-March) - November 1
Spring (Start dates in April-June) - March 1

Please note B-ESD is primarily made up of K-8 elementary schools. We do not have a central middle school. Our K-8 schools feed directly into one comprehensive high school.
