Senior Finance Specialist (SFS)

What You’ll Do:

1. Lead Cash Flow and Capital Management in a Leveraged Environment

  • Proactively manage cash flow to support daily operations and long-term financial health.

  • Partner with the CEO to assess capital requirements and inform strategic decisions.

  • Conduct forward-thinking financial analyses to optimize working capital.

  • Drive equity growth by increasing gross profit and reducing debt.

  • Monitor capital expenditures and ensure tax efficiency.

2. Shape and Execute Financial Strategy

  • Deliver clear, actionable insights that support company-wide strategic planning.

  • Establish and refine internal controls to support sustainable growth.

  • Identify potential financial issues and correct them before they become problems.

  • Oversee annual budgeting and monthly performance reporting.

  • Analyze ROI for capital purchases and lead long-term financial planning.

3. Lead and Develop a High-Performing Finance Team

  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to finance and accounting staff.

  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and growth-oriented culture within the team.

4. Champion Risk Management and Financial Reporting

  • Build and maintain risk management frameworks to proactively monitor financial exposure.

  • Expand reporting capabilities to deliver daily and weekly gross profit estimates.

  • Introduce financial disciplines that support better forecasting and real-time insights.

5. Oversee Bookkeeping and Payroll Across All Entities

  • Manage payroll processes and ensure accuracy across multiple business units.

  • Maintain impeccable bookkeeping standards that support audit readiness and transparency.

6. Other Details

* Work closely with CPA firm to help make financial decisions
* Collaborate with other teams, including sales, marketing, fleet and equipment to manage growth initiatives
* Manage Accounts Receivable,  Accounts Payable, and all parts that fall within each
* Understand and review all contracts, support proposals and contract negotiations as needed
* Help identify areas of improvement across the company and effectively put actions plans in place 
* Respond to Inquiries for Financial Documents
* High attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment on a day to  day basis
