The Wakefield Community Club Board is requesting feedback from members regarding the future of the organization. Over the past several years, attendance at Community Club events/meetings has declined as has the amount of volunteers. During our next general meeting on November 14th at 9:00 a.m. at The Formal Shoppe we will be discussing the results of this survey and determining how to move forward. The Board wants to ensure both current and past members have the opportunity to share their feedback so please feel free to share the link for the survey. For those that are unable to attend Thursday's meeting, we will post the outcome on the Wakefield Community Club website and Facebook pages.

The Community Club Board has come up with three different options on how to move forward. Please pick the one you most agree with. *

Forgo general meetings with the exception of the annual meeting. Continue to financially support Wakefest and Wakefield Dollars. Membership would still be required.

Keep going "as-is". This would require an additional board member to fill vacancy, additional volunteers for events and increased attendance at general meetings. Frequency of meetings needs to be determined.

Continue with general meetings but forgo membership. Wakefield Dollars would be able to be redeemed at any Wakefield business. All community members would be encouraged to volunteer and attend meetings. Frequency of general meetings would need to be determined.
