16/12/8 hour Illinois Concealed Carry Class

Thank you for choosing Metro-East Firearms Training for your Illinois Conceal Carry training. This training will give you the tools that you will need to be safe, educated, and confident, in your ability to protect yourself and your loved ones if the situation arises. I hope that you will never have to use this training. Carrying a firearm is a huge responsibility. One that I am all too familiar with as being in the profession that I chose.

This class will meet at the Best Western Premier Alton-St. Louis Area Hotel, 3559 College Ave, Alton, IL 62002, at the following time:

Saturday, December 14th 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday, December 15th, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.

You will need some things for this class. You will need to bring the following items to class:

Valid F.O.I.D. card (not mandatory, but call for more information)
Illinois Drivers License
A cased unloaded handgun
100-150 rounds of ammunition for your handgun (Do not bring this into the classroom you will be allowed to get this from your car when needed)
If available, a concealable holster that fits the handgun that you bring.
Eye and ear protection (we have it available if you need it or forget it)
Copies of certificates of your prior training, recognized by Illinois State Police. Please call to notify me of any prior training to make sure we get you in the right class.
Military ID or copy of your DD214

You are allowed to bring drinks and snacks into the classroom.

The range portion is outside so please dress for the weather.
