2017 GTSI Summer Institute Registration Survey
The Grand Traverse Stewardship Initiative (GTSI) supports teachers with the implementation of project and place-based learning. Each year we host professional development for teachers, provide year-round one-on-one support & guidance, connect teachers to community partners and provide funding and other resources to minimize barriers to implementing hands-on, community-centered learning.

Each year GTSI hosts a 4-5 day summer institute which is a multi-day professional development experience that explores the basics of implementing project and place-based education and introduces teachers to community partners and on-going regional projects and issues that classrooms could engage in. To apply to attend the 2017 Summer Institute (August 8-11), please complete this brief survey. If you have questions, please contact GTSI Coordinator Michelle Handke (mhandke@schoolship.org | 231-271-3077)
