On-time attendance for rehearsals and performances is required. Your availability for rehearsal and performance is determined by conflicts you list on this form. Any additional conflicts are subject to prior approval by the Director and the Production Manager.
Strike after the final performance is part of the production experience. Participation is required of all company members.
Photographs and/or videos of you taken during the audition, rehearsal, or performance process may be used by the School of Theater and George Mason University for promotional purposes.
If you are cast in a production, please do not cut, color or otherwise change your hair or appearance until you have talked to the director and costume and/or hair and make-up designer.
REHEARSAL SCHEDULES:Mason Originals: This project will rehearse for 2 weeks with performances on Sept. 14 and 15, 2018. This does NOT conflict with the other shows in the semester so you may be cast in this and ONE other show. Big River rehearses in the evenings and on weekends. There will be a day off each week, still to be determined. The play performs Oct. 25-28, 2018.
Machinal in Jail rehearses in the evenings and on weekends. There will be a day off each week, still to be determined. The play performs Nov. 15-18, 2018. WHAT TO PREPARE:One prepared monologue is preferred. You may instead choose to read sides from either play, available at the audition. DETAILS:If cast, you must be available for ALL tech rehearsals and performances.
Conflicts with other Mason Players Productions:You must list all rehearsal and performance conflicts at the audition, including work, class and other activities or events.
