International Science and Technology Governance Initiatives: roles and opportunities for Russian participants?

The Centre for Policy Analysis and Studies of Science & Technology (PAST) at the Tomsk State
University (TSU), Russia, is conducting an international survey concerning participation of
Russia and its representatives – researchers, public figures, policy makers – in international
dialogues concerning the global governance of science and technology.

Objectives: to gain an understanding of the kinds of international trends and
institutional formations driving the developments in science and technology, as well
as means by which Russia could establish presence in such platforms.

The results will be published in at least one international academic peer reviewed
journal, as well as presented in international conferences. A summary will be
prepared in Russian and English for the Ministry of Science and Education of the
Russian Federation, as well as for dissemination among the survey participants.
