WHEN: Tuesdays and Thursdays (beginning 9/26/23) from 2:30pm - 3:20pm
TRANSPORTATION DETAILS: Bus transportation is available for students
who are regular bus riders living in Northwest school district. All school of choice students MUST be picked up at KMS at 3:20 pm. A transfer bus takes students from KMS to the elementary campus. Then students ride the elementary bus home from there.
Students who are normally parent pick up will need to have a ride waiting for them at 3:20 at the back of KMS (off of VanHorn Road) across from the transportation office.
TRANSPORTATION NOTES:
Students requiring bus transportation must provide 2 full school days notice before they are eligible to ride the bus from Study Lab.
Student PICK UP TIME is 3:20 PM. If you are picking up your student from Study Lab, please be on time. Any student that is consistently picked up late will no longer be allowed to attend.
Student PICK UP LOCATION is at the back red doors between KMS and the Transportation office off of VanHorn Road.
Students may only be picked up (released to) their approved adults listed in PowerSchool.
After-School Study Lab Student Expectations:
Study-Lab is a privilege, not a right. Students that attend are to follow After-School Study Lab Expectations listed below. Any student that repeatedly does not follow expectations will no longer be allowed to attend.
1. Students must be in the Media Center by 2:30.
2. Students are to use the restroom and fill water bottles prior to arriving at After-School Study Lab.
3. All cell phones must be placed in the check-in area at the start of After-School Study Lab.
4. If students choose, they may eat one small simple snack. It must be finished by 2:40.
4. Students must have school work with them to work on the entire period each time.
5. Only school-approved technology sites may be used.
