Volunteer Trail Guide Application
Applications are currently being accepted for volunteer trail guides to join the upcoming Trail Guide Training, Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve. Additional training for "Tiny Footprints" Preschool program on Friday, January 31.

Wild Basin's volunteer trail guides provide unique, meaningful outdoor education experiences for Austin-area youth. Trail guides learn to lead guided 1-2 mile educational hikes across Wild Basin's rugged oak and juniper Hill Country habitat. Volunteer trail guides must be available on some weekday mornings and able to commit to guiding 2 hikes per month.

Trail Guides will be asked to sign up for three training hikes during the spring of 2020 and to commit to guiding two hikes per month once all training is complete. Will you be able to meet this requirement? *
