Good practices and success stories on responsible antimicrobials use (AMU) and to reduce the need for AMU in agri-food systems.
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses a global health and development challenge, threatening human and animal health and welfare, food security and nutrition, food safety, productivity, and the environment, as well as the livelihoods of farmers worldwide.

FAO has compiled a repository of a wide range of practices and success stories on responsible  antimicrobial use (AMU) and to reduce the need for AMU in agri-food systems which is being updated with new resources as they become known. For this reason, we would like to gather additional information especially on good husbandry and animal welfare practices, hygiene and waste management, biosecurity, advanced animal feeding practices, and use of adapted genetic resources that help reducing AMU on a wide range of production systems, world regions and languages.
