MPMS Tutor/Mentor Interest Form
Looking for a way to get involved? Wondering how you can make a positive impact on a child’s life? One of the ways you can make a difference is through tutoring and mentoring. Tutoring and mentoring students that may need some additional support not only improves their academic performance and chances of going to college, but also contributes to their overall well-being, and the well-being of the community.

Five years ago, we began a very successful tutor/mentor program at MPMS. We are planning to continue the program this year beginning in late September/early October. We are seeking Math and Reading tutors/mentors who are willing to give at least one hour a week of their time during the school day. In order to create stability for the classroom teachers and students it is important that the tutor/mentor relationship be sustained for a period of time. We are seeking a year-long commitment. It will be possible to share your commitment with another tutor/mentor.
