CAGEMATCH! '19 - Performers Registration
CAGEMATCH IS BACK! Wanna battle it out with other improv teams in Singapore? Then read on to learn more!

WHAT IS CAGEMATCH?
Every Saturday night, 2 teams will present a half-hour set each under the pretence of competing against each other. At the end of the night, the audience gets to vote for the 'better' team, which gets the honour of performing against a new contender at the next show. As a pan-community project, CAGEMATCH acts as a showcase for all Singapore-based improv teams to perform long-form formats.

WHEN IS CAGEMATCH?
Every Saturday at 9.30pm, starting 6th Jul 2019. This will stretch for as long as there are still teams available to perform, but the 2019 Season must end by late-Oct 2019. We may also skip certain weekends depending on circumstances.

WHO CAN SIGN UP?
To perform in CAGEMATCH!, you must:
~Have a team of at least 2 players* (You don't have to be a regular team, ad-hoc teams are allowed too!);
~Be able to perform a 20-25min LONG-FORM set (We will not allow Short-Form sets to register).
*If you don't have a team but are still interested to perform, fret not! Let us know and we might pull you into an ad-hoc team.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN MY TEAM WINS?
Congrats! By winning a show, you've earned to honour of performing again at the next Saturday night. Your team will hold on to this privilege until another team finally defeats you at the votes. (But if you lose, don't worry! You might get your revenge later in the season via a special show...)

WHAT IF I WIN BUT I CAN'T PERFORM AT THE NEXT SHOW?
No worries! Another team will perform in your place - you can either nominate another team to perform at your slot, or we'll form an ad-hoc team in your place. We'll just need to know in advance if you can't perform subsequent shows.

So if YOU are hungry enough to spar against the best of Singaporean improv, please provide your details and we'll get in touch~
