We are happy to announce and cordially invite you to our “Climate Dialogues 2022” workshop and webinar series in three parts!
Climate Dialogues have been a successful format for exchange on matters in the field of climate and energy. Participants of the moderated working groups had the opportunity to jointly learn from each other and develop lasting products with a solid link to the EECCA region.
As the Russian war against Ukraine changed the circumstances and possibilities, the hosting organizations: CAN EECCA, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, and BUND (Friends of the Earth Germany) altered the format to allow the continuation of the successful Climate Dialogues in 2022. We invite you to join our expert discussions to reflect on the fossil-free future for EECCA region. How will the climate policy and diplomacy change? How will we actually move to renewable without freezing during winter and how do we ensure gender justice is included during this transition?

1. The impacts of the Russia-Ukraine war on energy policies of the EECCA region
The first webinar will be on inputs on the consequences of the Russian aggression in Ukraine for energy transition and climate policy in the EECCA region and EU-Central Asia relations in the energy sector, followed by a discussion.

2. Heating solutions beyond fossil fuels. Energy independence.
