Manteca Hamcram & Radio License Exam Sign-up
This event is an all-day study session for FCC Amatuer Radio Licenses, culminating in taking the official FCC Exam required to obtain a license. There is an over 80% pass rate using this study method, and often with over 90% those taking these study sessions passing the exam. With the entry-level Technician exam passed and a $30 radio, you can talk over 100 miles using free-to-use Amateur Radio repeaters all over California - including on the famous Manteca water tower repeater known as K6MAN.

Registration opens at 7:25 AM and the study session begins promptly at 8:00 AM
Lunch break is from 11:00 AM - 12:00 AM - bring your own lunch or get lunch nearby
Exam testing registration begins at 3:00 PM
Please bring the following:
* A valid identification, preferably California Drivers License / Identification, or other acceptable IDs:
* Cash or check for suggested donation to cover expenses. The exam costs us $15 to submit to the FCC Volunteer Examiner Coordinator (VEC), the American Radio Relay League (ARRL). The study materials cost us about $5 per person to provide. If donating with check, please make it payable to Manteca Amateur Radio Club.
