At YWC, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all members of our community. To ensure that everyone feels respected and valued, we have established the following code of conduct:
1. Respect and Inclusivity: Treat all members with respect, kindness, and empathy, regardless of their background, identity, or skill level. Embrace diversity and create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and heard.
2. Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Harassment, discrimination, bullying, or any form of harmful behavior will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to: offensive language, threats, intimidation, unwelcome advances, or targeted attacks based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or any other characteristic.
3. Maintain Professionalism: Keep all interactions professional and constructive. Refrain from engaging in disruptive behavior, trolling, spamming, or any activity that may disrupt the flow of conversation or negatively impact the community experience.
4. Contribute Positively: Actively participate in discussions, share valuable insights, resources, and experiences, and support fellow members in their professional growth and development. Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and mutual support within the community.
5. Privacy and Safety: Respect the privacy and safety of fellow members. Do not share personal information without consent, and refrain from engaging in any activities that may compromise the security or well-being of others.
6. Constructive Feedback: Provide feedback in a constructive and respectful manner. Criticism should be aimed at improving ideas or contributions, rather than attacking individuals. Similarly, be open to receiving feedback and suggestions from others with an open mind and willingness to learn.
7. Content Guidelines: Ensure that all content shared within the community, including messages, images, links, and files, is appropriate and relevant to the community's goals and values. Avoid sharing content that is offensive, explicit, or violates Discord's terms of service.
8. Conflict Resolution: If conflicts or disagreements arise, address them calmly and respectfully. Attempt to resolve disputes through open communication and mutual understanding. If necessary, involve moderators or community leaders to mediate and facilitate resolution.
9. Compliance: Abide by all rules and guidelines outlined in the Code of Conduct, as well as any additional policies or regulations established by the YWC community. Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the community.
10. Reporting Violations: If you experience or witness any behavior that violates this code of conduct, please report it to the community managers or moderators immediately. All reports will be handled with confidentiality and addressed promptly and appropriately.
