To make this effort larger and faster and to serve more Jeffco kids, we're going to take YOUR orders for the $2.50 cards and our volunteers will deliver the card to you, take your $2.50, and deliver it back to Serving Kids! All you have to do is fill out this form and we'll contact you and come to you at your convenience! You don't have to plan time during office hours to get a card, we'll come to you day, evening, or weekends. Whatever is convenient! We just need your help!
All you have to do is shop and buy your gas as you normally do but use the card to give 5% of your purchase value to benefit Jeffco kids!
Here’s How it Works In More Detail:Step 1: Purchase a $2.50 reloadable gift card from Serving Kids and receive a King Soopers gift card with $2.50 pre-loaded on it. The card costs you nothing! Step 2: Each time you shop, simply give the card to your cashier to reload, or increase your balance, as necessary, before your purchases are scanned. Gift card reloading is paid as a separate transaction. You can use cash, checks, or a charge card to reload up to $500.00 at a time, right at the cash register! You can also reload your card at the customer service desk.Step 3: Every time you reload the card, King Soopers adds that amount to the Serving Kids Account. Once the total in any given month reaches $5,000, Serving Kids receives a check for 5% of the total! It’s that simple! If we don’t hit $5,000 in anygiven month, the balance rolls forward to the next month and continues accumulating.
What’s the catch? No catch . . . really! There are no extra costs associated with this program. This is a way for King Soopers to encourage shoppers to patronize their store and also for them to support non-profit organizations.
How long is the card good for?Your King Soopers card is issued ONCE and can be used over and over and over again. The dollar amount on the card never expires. However, if your balance goes to zero and you don’t reload the card within 90 days, the card will become inactive. If this happens, please purchase a new card from Serving Kids. If you reload a card after it has become inactive, Serving Kids will not get credit for your reloads.
Will the card be identified as a fundraising card?Yes!! Your fundraising card will have a sticker on the card, on which you can write a memo to deter you from throwing the card away!
What can I use the card for?You can use the card for any purchases at King Soopers (with the exception of some services, including Money Orders, Ticket Master, Postage Stamps, Lottery Tickets, and other King Soopers Gift Cards). Reloadable Gift Cards MAY also be used to purchase gas at King Soopers or City Market Fuel Centers… and you will still receive your King Soopers Gas Discounts! It’s a win-win!
Where else can I use the card? The King Soopers gift card is accepted at most Kroger-affiliated stores throughout the United States. These include King Soopers, City Market, Kroger, Fred Meyer, Ralphs, Fry’s and Fry’s Marketplace, Dillons, Smith’s Food & Drug, QFC, Food 4 Less, Owen’s, Foodsco, Hilander, Pay-Less Supermarkets, Cala-Bell, Baker’s, Jayc, Fred Meyer Jewelers, Littman & Barclay Jewelers (Loaf and Jug does not accept these cards).
