A portion of the survey asks respondents to provide information regarding their family size and to identify their income level. The information provided by families in the transportation survey is used to identify schools that can qualify for additional funding.
Historically, Tompkins, Golden Hills, and Jacobsen Middle School have qualified to receive Title I funding based on the information that was provided by families regarding their family size and income level.
In past years, the increased funding has been used to provide additional staff members such as the Learning Director, Intervention Teacher, and support staff. Additionally, the funding has provided engagement, intervention, and incentive programs that enhance district-funded programs.
