Texans for Fiscal Responsibility 2025-2026 Candidate Questionnaire

Overview:

Texans for Fiscal Responsibility  (TFR) is an independent, educational non-profit organization seeking to illuminate the actions of government, educate and equip citizens to effectively advocate for pro-taxpayer and pro family reforms, and hold lawmakers accountable for their actions.

Taxpayers should demand that their interests, not those of elected officials or bureaucrats, come first in the Lone Star State.

TFR endorses candidates who share in our mission to promote responsible government, and sound policies that put taxpayers and families first.

Candidates seeking endorsement must display strong commitment to our common mission.

Candidates must complete the questionnaire in full to be eligible for endorsement.

Not all races will receive an endorsement. TFR reserves the right to stay neutral in any race, even if questionnaires are completed by some or all candidates involved.

Follow-up interviews may be requested by Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, and may be a requirement for endorsement.

TFR reserves the right to pull its endorsement of any candidate, should new information come to light.
