2026 STARK COUNTY JUNIOR FAIR ROYALTY APPLICATION
Open to all Stark County Youth, ages 15-19 as of January 1, 2026 (must not be over 19 on 1/1/2027), who are current members of a youth organization represented at Stark County Junior Fair (4-H, FFA, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, Grange and Junior Achievement). Interviews will be conducted in late July-Early August. Each participant will be notified of date and time.

Instructions for application:

  1. Read and sign acknowledgement of expectations, if under the age of 18 (current age) parents must sign as well.
  2. Fill out all information and follow instructions.
  3. Use proper spelling, punctuation, grammar and complete sentences. This is a formal application that should be done professionally.
  4. Bring a reference letter from an FFA, 4-H Advisor, Teacher, Coach or Employer to your interview.
  5. Bring a 4X6 color photo of yourself for press releases to your interview
  6. Applications will not be accepted AFTER JUNE 30, 2026.
  7. Interviews are tentatively scheduled for late July- early August.

These expectations outline the commitment required for the 2026 Stark County Junior Fair Royalty. Additional duties may be added as necessary and will be provided in writing. If selected for the Royalty or Court, you are responsible for the following:
Attendance & Participation
• Coronation: Be present and on time for the 2026 Coronation (date and time provided at
interviews).
• Livestock Auctions: Attend all auctions at the 2026 Stark County Fair for photos with Grand
& Reserve Champions.
• Award Presentations: Attend Clothing and Extravaganza awards to present honors. You are
also encouraged to attend as many livestock shows as possible to present ribbons.
• Future Representation: Attend the coronation for the 2026 Royalty at the 2026 Stark
County Fair.
Outreach & Community Relations
• County Representation: Visit at least 10 local county fairs representing Stark County
(handing out provided county pins).
• Community Events: Participate in at least 5 community activities (parades, festivals,
shows, homecomings, etc.).
• Hospitality: Help the Committee gather 25 items for Swag Bags. Personally deliver these
bags and provide tours of the Stark County Fair to visiting royalty.
• Communication: Maintain active communication with the Royalty Committee regarding all
activities you attend.
Professionalism & Conduct
• Representation: Responsibly represent the Stark County Fair and Junior Fair in all
activities.
• Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor and use appropriate language at all
times.
• Social Media: Ensure all social media presence remains professional and reflects well on
the Fair.
• Attire: Dress appropriately in full official regalia (outfit, crown, sash, hat, shirt) for all events.
Logistics
• Travel: Provide your own transportation to and from all events.
• Chaperones: If you are under 18 years of age, a chaperone must be provided for all events.

Note: The Royalty Committee reserves the right to remove any member of the Royalty who fails to
follow these written expectations at any time.
