We are excited to offer three half-day pre-conference sessions as a part of the NASPA Region I-VE Conference in Milwaukee, WI! Pre-Conference Workshops allow for in-depth collaborative learning and interactive skill development. Advance registration is required for all pre-conference sessions.

A Human-Centered Approach to Organizational Change: The volume and pace of change present on today’s college campuses require every leader to possess the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to facilitate transformation from wherever they sit within the institutional hierarchy. By engaging in this session, participants will understand how to manage change with a human-centered approach that promotes collective buy-in, enables thorough implementation, and eases change resistance, initiative fatigue, and other employee relations issues that surface due to poorly led change. Throughout the session, participants will engage in discussions about change-related challenges and solutions they have encountered, participate in small group activities to gain new perspectives on managing change, and practice with user-friendly tools they can begin utilizing immediately. Target Audience: Mid-level Student Affairs Professionals, Senior-Level Student Affairs Professionals, Mid-Size Colleges & Universities, Small Colleges & Universities

You Good? Restore before you Lead: Mindfulness & Healing Space for Higher Ed Professionals:
 Participants will be guided through a half-day restorative experience designed for higher education professionals who are navigating demanding roles. Participants will engage in mindfulness practices, yoga-inspired movement, breathwork, and guided self-reflection to reconnect with their inner calm, clarity, and purpose. The session, facilitated by a certified yoga instructor will offer space to pause, stretch, and reflect—helping participants return to their work more grounded, present, and aligned in their leadership. Target Audiences: Mid-level Student Affairs Professionals, New Professionals; Large Universities, Mid-Size Colleges & Universities
