Roles and responsibilities
• RMP fellow would be required to work on research and survey projects, plan and execute events, write policy papers, reports, proposals and coordinate with various govt, academic and non-government agencies. • A Fellow would be expected to submit detailed reports at the end of each project. Good quality reports or academic papers would be published by RMP and included in its list of publications.• Fellows would be allotted a guide and would also be taken through regular training and capacity building programmes to enrich their skills and provide necessary handholding throughout the duration of fellowship.• There would be a quarterly evaluation process for the fellows where, in addition to the report by the guide, an independent evaluation of the project work and reports/ literature would also be done.
Fellowship period April 15th 2019 - March 31st 2020
Stipend and other benefits• RMP fellows would be getting a monthly stipend of Rs 20000, mobile reimbursement of Rs 1000 and local travel reimbursement of Rs 2000.• Fellows would get AC three tier reimbursement for their quarterly performance evaluation visits at RMP-KEC at bhayander where their accommodation and food would also be taken care of during the period.
Other details • A fellow could be asked to discontinue if he/she doesn’t meet the necessary quality standards or does not abide by the administrative rules or discipline or misuse organisation’s name.• Fellow would be expected to attend one of the RMP offices at least 5 days in a week.
Who can apply : -- Must be at least a graduate- Preferred educational background - Political science, Social Science or Journalism- Must have very good written as well as oral communication skills- Preferred areas of interest – Research, Public Policy, Training, Capacity building- Must belong to the age group 20-35
